Starting a piece of writing
Open it from Social Media → Create → Write, Social Media's Write a post button, or the Home studio cards (it left the side menu in October 2026). Choose Social post, Article / blog, Video script, Short script or Email. Enter Your topic. For social posts choose one or more platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, Bluesky or Pinterest. Choose Tone and Length; More direction contains Audience, Purpose, Call to action and Language. Sound like you uses your Brand Kit voice when enabled. Choose one to three versions, then press Write with Davnai. Nothing is generated until you press it. Each successful write uses one AI writing request, regardless of the number of versions or platforms. Your remaining monthly allowance appears above the workspace. Old Social Studio writing links still open your writing, including research topics and drafts.
Reviewing and saving versions
The document area starts empty. After writing, choose Version 1, Version 2 or Version 3 and, for a post, the platform. Switching versions or platforms keeps your edits. Use Copy, Save draft, Edit, Rewrite, or Picture. Rewrites show changes; Undo rewrite restores the previous words. A post's character count warns when it exceeds the platform limit. Read and check every version before sharing. New draft clears the current brief and generated workspace; saved drafts remain in My drafts.
Returning to a draft or rewriting existing words
Open My drafts, or choose a recent draft under Pick up where you left off. Filter by Posts, Articles, Scripts or Emails. You can edit, save, copy, attach a picture, rewrite a selected paragraph, or delete after confirmation. The Rewrite workspace accepts your own text and lets you compare a rewrite with the original, use it, undo or save it. When your writing allowance is used up, you can still edit, copy and save drafts.
Moving writing into publishing or recording
For a social post, Publish or schedule saves the current version and opens Social Media for review, account selection and scheduling. A saved post's Publish button opens the same publishing flow. Nothing is published by opening it. For a video script or short script, Use in Recording Studio saves a teleprompter copy and opens Recording Studio with that script selected. Your plan must include recording, and saved-script limits still apply. This does not start a recording or generate a video. Articles and emails can be copied and saved; Writing Studio does not send email or publish to a blog.
