Davnai Agent

Help centreGetting started

Tasks, history and what it remembers

Each request becomes a task that Davnai Agent follows across pages, including into a video's full-screen workspace, where it's the same conversation. For bigger jobs it shows a short plan, asks only what changes the result (as choices to tap), and finishes with a Verified complete card once everything it started has really finished. If something is still waiting for your Approve, still being made, or failed, it says so and offers to retry that step. Task history (the clock button at the top of the chat) reopens an earlier task where it left off; New chat starts a fresh one. When you say "remember", "always" or "never", it offers to save that as a preference (behind Approve); every saved preference is in Settings → What Davnai remembers, where you can pause, edit or forget it.

Opening the chat

Tap Davnai Agent in the bottom-right corner of any page. On a computer the chat opens as a panel floating over the page. On Home, Davnai Agent is also the third main action beside Record a Video and Start Editing. Opening or minimising the chat keeps your chosen side-menu size. Use Collapse menu or Expand the menu to change it yourself. The – button (or Esc) minimises the chat to the corner button, which then says Davnai Agent · your chat: nothing is lost. On a phone it opens full screen (the arrow at the top minimises it). The chat stays with you when you move to another page, so you can check something and carry on. It's also kept with your account, so it's there tomorrow and on your phone (the newest 40 messages, with their cards). New chat starts over and empties the kept chat. While Davnai works on your request, the chat shows what it's doing, step by step (for example "Checking your calendar", "Preparing a card for you to check").

On Home, typing a question or request in the big box (without a video) opens the same chat.

Posting and scheduling

Ask for example "Post my latest video to both Facebook pages tomorrow at 6 pm" or "Share my newest Short on Instagram on Friday at 9 am". Davnai Agent looks at the video, writes the words and shows a post card with the video, the accounts, the time in your posting time zone and how many of your posts it uses. Then:

  • Approve and schedule (or Approve and post now when no time was given) puts it on your calendar.
  • Edit lets you change the words, the day and the time first.
  • Skip drops it; nothing is posted.

YouTube posts show a YouTube: made for kids tick box. TikTok asks for its own choices on every post (who can see it, comments and more), so a TikTok post shows Post to TikTok: it opens TikTok's post screen with the words and the video ready, where you choose those and press Post. Asking for TikTok and other accounts together shows both on one card. On a video's page or in Image Studio you can say "post this".

Davnai Agent can do everything a connected AI app (Claude, ChatGPT) can do in your Davnai: the same look-ups and the same actions, each shown as a card you approve.

Your calendar and approvals

Ask "What's going out this week?" for a list of your posts with their status. "What's waiting for my approval?" shows the waiting posts with Approve all (or Skip for one), and "Cancel Thursday's Facebook post" shows a card with Cancel post. Cancelled posts don't count toward your month's posts.

Series and automations

Say "Pause my weekly series" or "Turn off the automation that posts my new videos". If it isn't sure which one you mean, it asks. The card shows the automation with Pause it (or Switch it on); after you tap it, Undo puts it back.

Automations, keyword replies and webhooks

Ask for example "Start a weekly tip series every Monday at 9 on FolarX and Instagram", "When someone comments LAUNCH, reply and DM them the link" or "Send my published posts to my Zapier: (address)". The card shows what will be set up:

  • A new automation shows its theme, accounts, days and time, pictures and approval, with Try one now (a sample post, 1 AI writing, nothing posted) and Create and switch on.
  • It knows the newer choices too: "Post my new Davnai videos at the best time for each platform" (written from what you say in the video, with Instagram getting the vertical Short; say "from the title only" or "the full video on Instagram" to change that), and "Every two weeks on Thursday, post my best posts again" (Reuse your best posts: in fresh words, or "the same words"; at the best time of the day unless you give a time).
  • A comment or message automation shows the words, accounts, reply and private message, and every other step it has (link and buttons, follow check, questions, email and phone, reminder, tag, connected tools); tick that Davnai may reply in your name, then Save and switch on. "Add a phone question to my GUIDE automation" shows the automation after the change with Save the change (it stays on or off).
  • Several goals in one setup: say them all ("Comment GUIDE: ask if they're a beginner or a pro, send beginners the starter guide and pros the advanced one, then ask for their email, and a day later offer people who opened it a call"). Davnai Agent builds one automation as a flow: questions whose choices each have their own reply and link, questions people tap with a link under each answer, the email and phone, a tag and folder, and follow-ups with their own button. The card shows where each choice goes ("Branches on Level: Beginner → Starter guide"). Goals that need different starts (comments and story replies, say) become one automation each, shown as a plan, each with its own Approve.
  • Messages: "Who needs me in Messages?", "Reply to Ada: the course starts Monday" (Send reply, as you) and "Let Davnai answer Tunde again" (Hand back). "Who left a phone number this week?" reads your Contacts.
  • Board 84: "How many people opened my guide link?" reads Your links. "Send a campaign to my Waitlist folder: we're live" shows the folder, the message and when (Send campaign, Schedule it or Save draft). "Put everyone who gave an email this week in a VIP folder" (Add to folder), "Add inbox starters to my Instagram" (Save to Instagram), "Save GUIDE replies as a template" (Save template) and "Automate my Friday post: comment GUIDE for the link" (Save and switch on, for a post scheduled in Davnai). Follow-ups, a code, a folder, every comment and the last 7 days can all be asked for in an automation or a change.
  • A webhook shows its address and events; after Create webhook its secret is shown once to copy, with Send a test.

Moving posts and posting times

"Move Thursday's Facebook post to Friday at 10" shows the old and new time with Move it. "Post my newest Short on Instagram at my next free time" uses your posting times from Social Studio, and "When are my best times to post?" answers from them.

Comments and results

"Any comments I need to answer?" shows the comments waiting for a reply, each with a reply Davnai Agent wrote and Skip, Edit or Send reply (nothing is sent until you tap it). "How did my posts do this week?" shows your views, engagement and new followers against the week before, each account's own numbers ("my views per channel"), and your top posts, with Open Analytics.

Designs without AI

"Make a quote card: consistency beats talent" shows a design in your brand colours with a live preview. Change the size (Square, Portrait, Story, Landscape), layout, colour, picture or logo, or Edit words, then Save picture: it goes to Image Studio → My images and uses storage only, never AI images. Then say "post it" for a post card.

For something the layouts can't do ("design a launch banner with three features and my logo"), Davnai Agent designs it itself and shows a preview with Draw picture. Davnai draws it (your pictures and logo appear in the drawn picture) and saves it to My images, using storage only.

Thumbnails for your videos

"Make a thumbnail for my Podcast 14 that says PRICE IT RIGHT" shows a 16:9 design titled Thumbnail for "Podcast 14", with Save and use as thumbnail (or Draw and use as thumbnail for a design with several parts). Saving puts it in My images and makes it that video's thumbnail: Davnai shows it on the video, and YouTube gets it when you post the video there. It works for recordings and finished videos, and uses storage only. If a design is still being drawn, choose ⋯ → Thumbnail from a picture on the video once it's in My images.

Pictures and bigger jobs

"Make 3 quote cards about consistency" shows a card with Make; each picture uses one of your AI images and lands in Image Studio → My images. For bigger jobs, such as "Make 3 ad pictures and post them Monday to Wednesday on Instagram and Facebook", it shows a plan card (pictures, posts and days) with Change and Go. Go makes the pictures and gets the posts ready, then Approve all schedules them (or Review one by one in Social Studio).

Editing a video with the AI Director

Davnai Agent hands video edits to the AI Director's own workspace (board 61): the chat shows one short card for the video (what's happening, the newest plan in a line) with Open in the Director; in the editor it says Show it in Direct my video. A change typed in the chat ("make it shorter") still makes a new plan version, and the workspace and the editor follow it. Before board 61, Davnai Agent showed the whole plan: the new length, how many Shorts, the look and music, the line the video now starts with, and how many export minutes making it uses. See every cut lists each part that's removed, with its time and the words that go. Untick a Short you don't want, then Approve and make video. To change it, say so ("make it shorter", "keep the part about pricing") or tap Change something; Open the plan opens the full plan card. On a recording's page in Video Studio, Davnai Agent to edit it starts the AI Director on that video right here in the chat (see the AI Director article); a chip above the message box shows which video it's about, and its × goes back to asking about anything. If the plan changed since the card was shown, nothing is made and the card shows the plan as it is now, so you always approve exactly what you saw. While a plan is open in the chat, only changes to the video's edit make a new version of the plan. Questions ("can I record on Davnai?") and other requests (a script, a post, a picture) are answered as usual, and the plan stays as it was.

If Davnai hasn't read the recording yet, the card says so: Get AI help and plan reads it first (a few minutes; its video minutes count the first time a recording is processed), then Try again.

Shorts, other shapes and captions

  • "Make Shorts from my latest video" shows the best moments with ticks. Choose the shape (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9); the Framing (Best fit, Fill and zoom with a slider for how close, or Follow the speaker); the Captions (Off, your Brand Kit's style or another style, and where they sit); and whether to Remove pauses and mistakes and Hide the cuts (a small punch in after each, so the jumps don't show). Then Make 2 Shorts (the number follows your ticks). Find more (1 AI re-run) looks for new moments; More choices opens Make Shorts with everything (music, intro and end card, your own moments).
  • "Make a vertical and a square version with captions" shows the Resize card: pick the shapes, the framing (with the zoom for Fill and zoom) and the captions' style and place, then Make 2 versions.
  • "Add captions to this video in Spanish" shows the captions card: pick the style and place, then Add captions. A copy is made; your original isn't changed.
  • Every one of these cards also has Let the AI Director edit it instead: the card turns into the AI Director's, with the same request, so it plans the whole edit (cuts, captions, transitions and more) for you to check.
  • "Join my two latest videos" shows the Join card: the clips in order (move them up or down, untick one), the shape (in another shape: Best fit, or Fill and zoom with how close), the captions' style and place, Between (the transition where one clip meets the next: Straight cut, Crossfade, Dip to black, Whip pan, Into the frame or Card flip), and your intro and outro, then Join them. Recordings, edited videos and Shorts can be joined; your clips aren't changed. Ask for your intro and outro ("join them with my intro and outro", or after the card: "add my intro and outro") and the card's Intro and Outro show your animated intro and outro from Text & graphics, a Logo card with your Brand Kit logo, or None. If you haven't designed one yet, the card says how.

Shorts, resizing and captions work on recordings you uploaded. Each card shows about how many export minutes it uses.

Videos being made

Ask "Is my video ready?" or "What's being made?" to see each video that's being made, how far along it is and about how long is left. Refresh updates it; finished videos are in the Library (Open Library).

Scripts for the teleprompter

Ask for a script ("write me a 30-second script for my Saturday workshop video"): Davnai Agent writes it and shows it on a card with how long it takes to read. Save to teleprompter keeps it in Record → Saved scripts; then Record it opens Record with the script ready. Words in [square brackets] are directions for you, not read aloud.

Brand Kit

  • "Make my brand voice warmer and a little playful, and add coral as a colour" shows each change before and after. Save to Brand Kit saves only those parts; Keep as it is changes nothing. If your Brand Kit was changed somewhere else in the meantime, nothing is saved and the card shows the change again on the kit as it is now.

On a video's page (Video Studio)

Ask for example "Make it look cinematic", "Trim the first 10 seconds" or "Split into 3 parts". The right tool opens with the settings filled in; check them and press Start. The answer has an Open … button to reopen that tool. Shapes, captions, Shorts and AI Director edits show their cards in the chat (see above).

On the review screen

In Finish my video, ask for changes to the edit: "make it about 3 minutes", "give it a stronger hook", "remove the part about pricing", "put back what was removed at the start". The timeline and transcript change straight away, and the answer shows what changed (for example "4:17 → 3:05, 4 parts removed"). Show me jumps to the first change; Undo puts it back. Nothing is saved until you press Save or Approve.

In Image Studio

Ask for a picture ("an Instagram post announcing my new candles") or a change to the open one ("make the background softer"). Davnai Agent fills in the Create or Edit form; no AI image is used until you press the button.

Limits and your plan

Everything Davnai Agent prepares follows your plan: posts, AI images, export minutes, AI re-runs, AI writing and storage count exactly as when you use the buttons yourself, and a card tells you when something has run out. Ask Davnai itself never counts toward your video minutes (reading a new recording does, the first time, as it always does). There's a fair-use number of requests per day (60 today); the chat shows how many are left. Every request counts, including one that didn't work out.

Tables, long answers and plans

Answers can include tables (for example an ad plan by day, budget and platform): they're drawn as tables and scroll sideways on a narrow screen. Headings, lists and dividers are kept too. A plan card shows every post's words in full, and a long teleprompter script folds with Show all. On a narrow screen, a plan's buttons (Preview, Editor, Approve and make) move to a second line instead of being cut off.

Tips

  • Say which accounts and when ("FolarX and Instagram, Friday at 9 am"). Without a time, a post goes out when you approve it.
  • Follow up on a card: "make it 7 pm instead", "and the same on Instagram".
  • Davnai Agent follows what was said in your videos (the transcript). A wrong transcript language gives poor answers: fix it in the transcript first.
