Looks and polish

Help centreVideo editing

Where is it?

  • Video Studio → Look & sound (or ⋯ → Improve look & sound on a recording): makes a polished copy of the whole recording.
  • The Look & polish section in Finish my video (the Look & sound step), Make Shorts, Split into parts and Resize. It's closed by default; open it to choose.

One-click looks

Each tile shows the look on your own video: Original (no look), Natural (a touch of contrast and colour), Clean & Bright (lifted and fresh), Cinematic (moody contrast, cooler shadows, soft vignette), Warm (golden tones) and Black & White.

Fine-tune

Open Fine-tune for Brightness, Contrast, Colour, Warmth and Sharpness (each from -100 to +100, added on top of the look). Reset puts them back to zero.

Before and after

Drag the line across the picture (or use the arrow keys) to compare. The preview is a close approximation made in your browser; the finished video uses the real, higher-quality processing.

Steady a shaky camera

Smooths handheld wobble. It zooms in slightly to hide the moving edges, and takes a little longer (Davnai first measures the shake, then smooths it).

Stronger voice clean-up

Removes fans, keyboards, traffic and room noise between words with a speech noise-removal model, then evens out the voice. Use it for noisy recordings; the standard clean-up (Enhance sound) is enough for quiet rooms.

Auto-fix lighting and Enhance

Enhance picture / Auto-fix lighting lifts dark footage and adds a little colour (grain is smoothed only in very dark footage). It is off unless you switch it on: automatic fixes can make good footage look worse. A look is applied on top of it. Enhance sound / Clean up sound is the standard clean-up (even volume, less hum and steady background noise, gentle enough to keep your voice full).

Does it cost minutes?

No. Looks and polish never count toward video minutes.
