Video Studio

Video Studio in the menu (for a while it was called Video tools) is where you pick what to do with a video. On a phone it's the Tools tab. It doesn't list your recordings any more: all your files are in the Library.

The page has, from top to bottom:

• A band, Video Studio · Shape the story, with pills that show one group at a time: All tools, Edit it, Make more from it, Add to it and Get it ready to share.
• A Working on bar showing the video the tools will use: the one you used last, or your newest. Choose another video lets you search your videos and pick a different one.
• Direct my video: the AI Director. Say what you want, and Davnai plans the whole edit. Nothing is made until you approve the plan.
• 17 tools in four groups:
  • Edit it: Finish my video, Video editor, Trim, Cut out sections.
  • Make more from it: Shorts & Reels, Make a promo, Split into parts, Join videos.
  • Add to it: Add captions, Add music, Voiceover (opens Finish my video at Look & sound → Your voice), Logo, intro & call to action, Look & sound.
  • Get it ready to share: Resize for platforms, Transcript & subtitles, Audio (MP3), Write the post.

A tool says why it isn't ready yet, for example "Transcribing first…".

They're gone. Everything they did is now closer to hand:

• To upload, use Upload a video on Home or in the Library (see uploading).
• To record, use Record on Home or in the menu.
• To edit or make something from a video, use Video Studio. Old links to the Create page open Video Studio.

In the Library. Each recording there has an Edit button that opens Video Studio with that video already chosen. Recordings still being written down or prepared show under Getting ready in the Library.

Each recording still has its own page, titled Video Studio.

• Video Studio (above the name) goes back to the tools page. Original recording plays at the top (its thumbnail shows until you press play), displays its preparation status and confirms that the source stays unchanged.
• Davnai Agent to edit this recording is the leading action. Describe the finished result you want; Davnai prepares an edit plan, explains it and waits for approval before making anything. The corner Davnai Agent button remains available and opens this recording's tools already filled in.
• Edit it your way: compact tiles (hover one to see what it does): Finish my video, Video editor (split, trim and cut on a timeline, and put pictures and clips in or over the video anywhere on screen; see the video editor article), Text & graphics (animated intros and outros, name titles and key points on the video), Make Shorts, Split into parts, Resize for platforms, Trim and More tools (cut out sections, rotate, change speed, MP3, make smaller, download the original). A tile says why it isn't ready yet, for example "Transcribing first…". Join with other videos adds recordings or edited videos from this project or any other, and plays them together straight away.
• Edited videos can have their own page too: ⋯ → Edit more → All video tools. Their page says "made from an edited video".
• Made from it (beside the video on computers, under it on phones): everything made from it (edited videos, Shorts, parts, resizes…) as a list with each one's status, and a progress bar for anything still being made. It updates by itself; you don't need to go to the Library.
• About it: the length, size, how many words were written down and how long the original is kept.

They appear under Made from it on the recording's page, and also in the project's Edited tab and the Library.
